5 Easy Steps Poster

“It is the night of the end of the world, and three friends isolate themselves in the cluttered basement of a pawnshop. Determined to go out with a bang, they conjure an evening that is both a dance party and a painful meditation on the past, future and the ever-elusive present.”

‘This is how we celebrate. This is what happened. This is what we did when the world was ending.’

Five Easy Steps (to the end of the world) opened at the Chapter Centre for the Arts in Cardiff, Wales and has subsequently been performed in Halifax and in Ottawa at the 2011 Magnetic North Theatre Festival.Five Easy Steps (to the end of the world) was developed as an expansion of a one-act precursor titled Very Secret Ceremony. The one-act version was presented at the 2009 Cooking Fire Theatre Festival in Toronto and at the 2009 Queer Acts Theatre Festival in Halifax.
